July 11: District Police Kargil conducted three-month refresher course for SPOs of District Kargil at District Police Lines in which 45 trainee SPOs participated.

The training module is aimed at training the manpower in the field of handling of law and order, riot control drill, foot drill, physical fitness, traffic regulation, Police practical works and other training methods. Knowledge of police rules and other criminal laws pertaining to the job of police officials was also imparted during the training course. Senior officers also delivered lectures on various topics concerning with day to day policing.

The overall training schedule was conducted under the immediate supervision of DySP DAR Kargil and under the active supervision of SSP Kargil.

On the concluding day, SSP Kargil distributed certificates among the trainee SPOs to boost their morale.
