SSP Jammu Convened Series of Meetings with Locals of Border Area in Sub-Division Domana to Strengthen Border Vigilance

Jammu, 23 July: Today, SSP Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS held a series of crucial meetings with local residents and weapon license holders from Gajansoo, Kirpalpur, and Sandwan areas of the Domana Sub-Division. These meetings aimed to enhance community awareness and their involvement in maintaining regional security amidst ongoing threats.

Presided over by SSP Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar, the meetings saw the attendance of SP Rural Sh. Brijesh Sharma-JKPS, SDPO Domana Sh. Mudasser Hussain-JKPS, SHO Kanachak, SHO Domana, ICPP Pounichak, ICBPP Sandwan, ICBPP Gajansoo, ICBPP Kirpalpur, and other officials. Residents from border villages actively participated, receiving detailed briefings on the current security situation and the continuous terrorist threats in the Jammu zone. The SSP urged locals to report any suspicious individuals or activities immediately to the police to help prevent potential incidents.

SSP Jammu also urged the public to keep a close watch on the activities of outsiders visiting border areas daily for pheri purposes and on the movements of vehicles, especially in the early morning hours carrying milk and vegetables towards the city. Any unusual or suspicious activities of unknown persons should be reported promptly to the nearest police station or police post to avert any adverse incidents.
