Anantnag, December 28: In a swift and efficient operation, Anantnag Police rescued four tourists stranded in heavy snowfall on Mehmood Abad Road, Dooru, during the early hours of the night.
At around 2:00 AM, a distress call was received reporting that a vehicle carrying four tourists traveling from the National Highway via Dal Watch to Dooru had become stuck due to heavy snow, leaving the passengers stranded in extreme weather conditions.
Acting promptly, a Police team from Police Station Dooru, led by SHO team, reached the spot despite challenging conditions. The team successfully rescued all four tourists and safely evacuated them to a secure location.
