Kulgam, February 21: Continuing unwavering efforts to help the needy, Kulgam police received a distress call during the preceeding night of 20/21 Feb, 2024 from the Medical Superintendent Emergency Hospital Qazigund; stating therein that a patient (Child) was in dire need to be shifted to Anantnag as they were unable to shift him in ambulance amid heavy accumulation of snow and slippery road.

On tip off, a Police Party from Police Station Qazigund immediatly rushed to the spot and shifted the child to Maternity and Child care hospital Anantnag for medical treatment in official vehicle (BP Bunker). As no ambulance service or any regular vehicle could be used to shift the child to hospital.

Locals especially family members of the patient thanked and applauded the efforts of Kulgam Police for prompt response and timely assistance.
