Sopore, 05 July: Sopore Police today held a training program on implementation of New Criminal Laws at Conference Hall PC Sopore.

Hon'ble Principal District and Sessions Judge Baramulla Shri. Pawan Kumar, Addl. District/ Sessions Judge Sopore Shri. Sunil Sangra and Prosecution Officer Sopore Ms. Sadaf Amin delivered the lectures and reiterated the importance of having a wholesome knowledge of the new criminal laws and motivated the officers to be ready for its implementation.

The program was structured in such a way that the essence of the new law is imparted on the IOs and they get a practical understanding.

On the occasion, SP Sopore Smt. Divya D-IPS, SP operation Sopore Mohammad Usman-JKPS, SDPO Sopore Shri. Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS and DYSP DAR and IC SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal-JKPS, DYSP SIU Sopore Shri. Shafeeq Ahmad, SHOs/DOs and other officers of Team Sopore Police were also present.
