July 10:* ```Police in Ganderbal carried out destruction drive of Wild Bangh on vast area of land at Tressa, Kulpora etc in the jurisdiction of Police Station Safapora.

The drive was carried out by Police Party led by SHO PS Safapora Shri Mudasir Zaroo along with the team of Revenue Excise Department and Civil Society. J&K Police District Ganderbal is committed to eradicate dreadful menace of illegal Bangh cultivation from the society and such drives would be continued in upcoming days also.

General Public of Ganderbal is requested to come forward with the information regarding the landowners who indulges in large scale poppy cultivation so that they can be dealt as per law.```
