JAMMU AND KASHMIR POLICE’S SWIFT ACTION LEADS TO ARRESTS AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN ITEMS IN JAMMU DISTRICT WITHIN DAYS

Jammu,July 5: On July 5, 2024, a police report was lodged by Ajay Khanna, S/o Ashok Khanna, R/o H. No. 102, Mast Garh, Jammu. Mr. Khanna reported that on June 27, 2024, between 3 PM and 5 PM, an unknown thief entered his house and stole the following items:

- 03 gold rings weighing 14 grams 150 milligrams
- Cash amounting to Rs. 11,200

These items were kept in an almirah. Following this complaint, an FIR (No. 70/2024) under sections 454/380 IPC was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga. The investigation was entrusted to PSI Anil Kumar, IC PP Chowk Chabutra.

During the course of the investigation, the police team, under the guidance of SHO PS Pacca Danga, supervised by SDPO City North, and overall supervision of SP City North, made significant efforts and finally apprehended one suspect, Amit Pal Singh, S/o Late Janak Singh, R/o H. No. 856-EP, Jullaka Mohalla. Based on his disclosure, another suspect, Ankush Anand, S/o Late Ashok Kumar, R/o H. No. 934-EP, Jullaka Mohalla, Jammu, was also arrested in connection with this case.

Upon further investigation and disclosures made by the suspects, the stolen three gold rings were recovered. The investigation is ongoing to uncover more details.
