Rajouri Police Continues Action Against Drug Peddlers: Property Worth 92 Lakhs Attached


In its ongoing crackdown on drug peddlers, Jammu and Kashmir Police in District Rajouri have attached properties worth approximately 92 lakhs rupees. These properties, acquired through illegal narcotics trade, include a residential complex in the Kheora area of Tehsil, District Rajouri, belonging to notorious drug peddler Basid Ali, son of Barkat Ali.

The attachment was carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act 1985, following investigations into case FIR No. 204/2023 U/S 8/21/22/25/27-A NDPS Act. The operation was led by a team including the Additional SP Rajouri, DySP HQrs Rajouri, SHO PS Rajouri, and Incharge PP City, in the presence of Executive Magistrate First Class Rajouri.

This action is part of a broader effort by Rajouri Police, which has previously attached properties worth crores of rupees acquired through illegal means.
