Police-Public meeting held in Panchayat Bhalwal of Gharota,Jammu

Jammu, 21: Today, a significant PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting took place at Panchayat Bhalwal of Gharota. The gathering brought together prominent citizens, panches, and religious leaders to discuss the current security scenario and emphasize community vigilance.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on the importance of remaining alert and reporting any suspicious activities. They were urged to promptly contact the MHC, Police Officials of PS Gharota, SHO Gharota, or SDPO Akhnoor if they observe any unusual movements in their area.

In a proactive measure to enhance community safety, attendees were also advised to install the maximum number of CCTV cameras in their localities. This step aims to bolster surveillance and assist law enforcement in maintaining a secure environment.

Additionally, telephonic contact was made with 12 sarpanches and panches from other villages. They were reminded to stay vigilant and maintain regular communication with the police to handle any untoward situations effectively.

This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of the community and law enforcement to work together for a safer and more secure environment.
