Rajouri,July 23: CCIU Rajouri, a dedicated unit to deal with cases of online frauds and cyber crime, has been continuously recovering hard earned money of cyber fraud victims.

Acting proactively, the District Cyber Crime Investigation Unit Rajouri has achieved a major success by recovering of funds valuing of rupees 8,43,501 to different cyber crime victims in this running month of July.

Mentionable that during the running month of this calendar year as many as 13 aggrieved persons reached out to Cyber Crime Investigation unit Rajouri with their grievance of being defrauded by online scamsters. Following which the dedicated team of CCIU Rajouri started its investigation.

Notably the diligent investigative efforts of District Cyber Investigation Unit Rajouri in coordination with financial institutions resulted in making the recovery of defrauded money.

The District Cyber Investigation Unit Rajouri remains committed and vigilant in efforts to prevent and combat financial crimes, working tirelessly to safeguard the interests and financial security of our citizens.

Pertinent to mention that,Addl. Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, immediately after taking over as Zonal Chief had directed all districts to establish such Cyber Crime Investigation Unit with a view to ease the hardships being faced by cyber crime victims in reaching Cyber Police Station Jammu for redressal of their grievances.
