SSP Poonch Reaches Loran and Mandi; Engages with Local Communities

Poonch, November 29: In a significant outreach initiative, Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch along with DYSP Ops visited the far-flung areas under the jurisdiction of Loran Police Station, including Batalkot, and Police Station Mandi. The visit was aimed at fostering community-police relationships and addressing the concerns of the local population.

During the visit, SSP Poonch interacted with various sections of society, including local residents, representatives of civil society, panchayat members, traders, youth, and elders. The discussions revolved around the challenges faced by the community, law and order issues, and steps to enhance cooperation between the police and the public.

SSP Poonch emphasized the police's commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring security in the region. He assured the public of prompt action on their grievances and encouraged them to actively support the police in tackling social evils such as drug abuse, thefts, and other criminal activities.

The outreach program also highlighted the importance of public awareness regarding cybercrimes and road safety. SSP Poonch urged the youth to stay vigilant and contribute positively to society.

The residents expressed their appreciation for the SSP’s proactive approach and shared their concerns, including infrastructure challenges, accessibility issues, and other developmental matters.
